Nelson Mandela was flying in an airplane after he was released from Robbin Island. When he learned that the pilot was a black man, he felt uneasy. He was surprised to learn that despite being a leader in the fight for equality for black Africans, he still harbored unconscious doubts about the competence of his fellow black Africans.
