Information technology hiring plans rise slightly

Twenty-one percent of San Diego technology executives plan to expand the size of their information technology teams during the second half of 2016, according a report released Tuesday by Robert Half Technology.

The results of the IT Hiring Forecast and Local Trend Report reflects an uptick in expectations from the first half of the year.

Six months ago, only 18 percent said they expected to hire new IT workers in the first half of the year.
