Los Angeles employers are working on adding another benefit to packages designed to attract employees: affordable housing.
The bursting of the housing bubble has not done that much to make housing in Los Angeles more affordable, particularly on the city's Westside, where the University of California, Los Angeles is located, according to Sam Morabito, administrative vice chancellor at UCLA.
