Commercial real estate prices rose 4.1 percent in December, marking the second consecutive monthly gain and the largest increase in the history of the Commercial Property Price Indices by Moody's and Real Estate Analytics Inc.

Despite the increase, prices are 29.2 percent below year-ago levels and 40.8 percent below their peak.
